AWARD GUIDELINES:
1. Purpose: The Northwestern Ohio Education Association has established the Promising Leader Award to be presented to a person, who within the first five years of his/her career in education has shown initiative in his/her local association.
2. The Award: The presentation shall include a special pin and a certificate. The awardee shall be recognized by the NWOEA President (or his/her designee) at the annual NWOEA Representative Assembly unless the Board of Directors determines another appropriate occasion.
3. Eligibility: A local may choose and submit ONLY TWO persons per year. Submission of the completed application assures the person named will receive the award, if eligible. A person can receive this award only once.
Please fill out the form completely. Incomplete forms will not be considered. This nomination form must be submitted to the NWOEA Center by Thursday, January 11, 2024. Any questions can be emailed to nwoea.center@gmail.com.
Promising Leader Award Recipients will be notified and invited after February 1, 2024 to be recognized at the Awards Reception (Findlay Country Club on March 12, 2024.)
